North American Pitcher Plants (Sarracenia) Care Sheet Price List
These Plants are strange and beautiful, unearthly and prehistoric. They are not predators but seducers, drawing their prey with enticing scents into leaves formed as lidded hollow tubes or short fat vases. Although exotic in appearance, they are easy to grow. Their flowers are beautiful and unique. Plants described as small are in their third year of growth from seed, leaves 2"-8" tall depending on species. Medium plants are in their fourth year of growth,3"-12" tall. Large plants are in their fifth year of growth and may bloom next spring or fall. Size is approximate. Dormant plants will have their leaves trimmed back.
