$10.00 - Medium, bloom size $15.00 - Large, bloom size Height to 28”, erect yellow-green to yellow pitchers, large bright yellow flowers. The outside of the lids and sometimes the upper part of the pitchers of this variety have a copper to chocolate color. There may also be varying patterns of red or purple veins and throat markings. The intensity of the copper color is deeper in unshaded pitchers and changes as the pitchers age.
No the Pacific Tree Frogs (Pseudacris regilla) are not included. Because of their sticky toe pads, these little darlings are not plant food. When the tiny baby frogs first emerge from the water, they climb the pitchers and wait for lunch. Even though they are supposed to be nocturnal in habit, I see them in the daytime on top of a pitcher lid or peeking out over the lip roll of a pitcher mouth.

$15.00 - Medium This cultivar was discovered in the 1970s by Coleman Tarnok in the Perdido region of Baldwin County, southeastern Alabama, U.S.A. Pitcher habit, size, shape and color are typical of the S. leucophylla species. This double flowered S. leucophylla cultivar must, however, be produced by vegetative means because the flower is sterile. reproductive parts of the flower are highly mutated. Undifferentiated petals and sepals (tepals) are multiple, giving the large flowers of mature plants a very full pompom like shape. This cultivar takes a year or two longer to reach bloom age than the typical species plants.
